  Work from any location
Work offline with Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders, Sales Literature, and more - when you're on the road, you'll have access to full sales functionality.
 
Separate personal data from CRM data
With Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook client, you can maintain your personal contacts, appointments, e-mail and tasks separately from your CRM information.
  Exchange Integration
By installing the Microsoft CRM Exchange Router, all of your incoming e-mails can be scanned for matching records in the CRM database. Matching records will automatically generate activity history for that contact.
 
Create mail merge documents
The Outlook client enables you to use Microsoft Word to create mail merge communications with your Microsoft CRM customers and contacts. Using mail merge, you can: Create new templates or use an existing one to generate form letters. Send form letters to contacts. Resend old letters to new recipients. These letters are associated with each recipient's record and saved to the Microsoft CRM database as activities.
  Powerful synchronization
Every time you go offline, Microsoft CRM Sales goes with you - you'll always work with updated information. If you make changes to data while working offline, the new information with synchronize with the Microsoft CRM server the next time you go online.
