  • Microsoft CRM Sales and Business Development
    This highly motivated person will be responsible for marketing and selling Microsoft CRM software and our professional consulting services to mid-market and enterprise businesses, with a geographic focus in the Chicagoland area. The sales person will be responsible for the entire sales process from start to finish, including researching leads, calling into accounts, qualifying prospects, giving software demonstrations, and creating proposals. You will have access to a Sonoma Partners technical sales specialist to assist you during the sales process, but you'll be driving the sales process yourself. Our leads are currently generated though several different channels such as: 1. prospects contact us 2. marketing events (webinar/seminars) 3. external referrals 4. cold-calling. Sales consist of both Microsoft CRM software licenses and our consulting services, with projects ranging from $50,000 up to $1 million.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research and prospect target leads
  • Qualify and respond to inbound inquiries and Microsoft referrals
  • Participate in and help manage marketing events/seminars
  • Prepare for and conduct software demonstrations (typically 30 to 60 minutes in duration). Demonstrations take place online or in person if the prospect is located in the Chicagoland area
  • Conduct 25 cold calls per day into target accounts
  • Create proposals and pricing options for each prospect
  • Follow through on proposals until deal completion

    REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 2+ years business-to-business sales experience
  • Experience selling software and/or technology
  • Polished phone presence
  • Must to able to establish credibility with C-level executives
  • Enjoy working technology and ability to learn technical areas of software related to sales
  • Highly motivated and dependable, a true self-starter
  • College degree
  • Enjoy working at small entrepreneurial company
  • Vehicle for Chicagoland travel for onsite sales presentations (sevearl times per month)

    Full-time position. Up to 10% out-of-town travel required for this job. Training will be provided. Compensation will be a combination of base salary and commission, with no limits on commission.
